American Music Awards 2007

So I didn't even know they were coming on and from the people I talked to last night, they didn't either. However, upon flipping between King Kong, 25 Best Dancers, and Tila Tequila( I SWEAR I ONLY WANTED TO SEE THE FIGHT!), I caught some of the good clips.

The opening was great! Jimmy Kimmel is a fool for doing the Soulja Boy thing! I was crying it was so funny to me.



Beyonce looked nice in her red carpet dress. Her performance outfit looked like something she wears on the regular so I wasn't impressed. It caught me off guard when I saw a white woman singing Irreplaceable. And it made me upset when I saw that Bey's hair looked dried out! But hey, the whole performance was random as all get out! However comma congrats to her for winning the International Artist of the Year award.



I didn't see Ashanti during the airing of the show however, the pics I saw after, she looked nice.


Nicole S., of the Pussycat Dolls had a nice performance and her red carpet dress was so simple and cute.

Oh and Fergie!? I still love her. And she sang my song Fergalicious .



And who knew Lenny Kravitz could play the piano?


Chris Brown? He just keeps getting better and better. I loved his performance.


I didn't see Mary or Queen but Mary looked nice. And Queen Latifah just needed a little more support on the stomach area. But she still looked nice.



I didn't too much care for Alicia's performance once the reggae dropped but, to each its own...


And Rihanna killed it with the string orchestra! Like, come on now!? And her performance dress was GREAT!

VMA Recap

Okay so, I was pumped for the VMAs. Like I always am. I sat on the couch with my pen and pad and my friend to enjoy all of the excitement! Now I'm reading my notes so most of this stuff should be in order!

Britney Spears? It wasn't like the old times. Most definitely. She lip synched the whole thing. She's lost her curves and they could have given her a better weave. Probably longer would have been nice. And all the pole dancing? At the end of the performance it was like people didn't know if they should clap or not. FUNNY!

Then Sarah Silverman made it no better by calling Britney's kids the cutest mistakes! But she was funny as ever when she said that she was talking to Cee-Lo and he told her I'm Kanye West!

And for Monster Mix? Rihanna beating out The Shop Boyz? Like seriously! I was pissed.

Jennifer Hudson. I love her however, she needs to wear a bra. It makes no since that her breasts are always just posted on her chest. Like, for real! Those things are too big!

Justin Timberlake beat Bey, Jay, and Kanye for Triple Threat? Show me some proof. In the words of Jay, Men Lie, Women Lie, Numbers don't.

So my friend and I switched the channel for a minute or two because Justin Timberlake definitely paid someone! Or wait, my mistake. Timbland paid someone! And did anyone else feel different about the Tila Tequila bi-sexual reality television show that's coming on MTV? And did you know that Run's House's latest episode came on BET? It was the one about the beginning of their adoption process!

50 Cent is a lame which is why he was performing with Justin and Timbaland. Oh and why was Justin's room called Souther Hospitality? He SOOOOO paid someone!

Fergie beat out Bey for Female Artist of the Year!? MTV can kiss my tail! Like for real! I was pissed!

Alicia shocked me. At first I didn't like the songs. But they grew on me. And it seemed like she was singing to Diddy! Watch the video below.
