BET Spring Bling

Okay, so the reason why I don't write everyday is not because I don't want to but its because I cannot find anything! And I'd rather bring you something with proof to back it up than a story that is untrue and then you would not look at me as a credible source. And I have seen and read a lot of rumors but now I try to ween myself away from the rumors and bring you proof. i.e., Spring Bling 2007.

Let me say how I feel about BET. I watch the shows that come on. I support the channel but I am tired of them taking MTV's leftovers or trying their hardest to be MTV. College Hill, Access Granted, How I'm Living are all washed up versions and mistakes of MTV's top rated shows. And it seems that the artist that appear on these shows could never be on MTV's Real World, Making The Video, or Cribs. Why? We may never know the TRUE answer but it has something to do with the morale of our generation. And people are focused on money and appearance. Be it good or bad.

Dag, I'm sorry. This is supposed to bae about Spring Bling. Now, I am going to post the pictures and I want to see what you all have to say about them. I'm not going to make any comments. I just want to see if you all were thinking what I was thinking...

Soul Train Awards

Okay, so the Soul Train Awards were held this past Saturday in Los Angeles. Well I thought since the Oscars, Golden Globes, the SAGs, the NAACP Image and other award shows have taken place prior to the Soul Train Awards, I thought that maybe, just maybe, some FASHION tips would have been taken from those red carpets. But sad to say, that's not what happened. Jennifer Hudson... I don't know what to say. I think Andre Leon Talley was offended by Jenn's comment on the Today Show so, he told her to dress herself for this one. Her hair was clearly a wig! And it looks like they went back to the 90s and combed her edges out with gel and a toothbrush! Bootz, she was one of my favorites but really. What IS she wearing? Shemar Moore was there looking nice. Long time no see right? Omarosa!!! Her dress... I sort of liked it and I sort of did not. The 2 Live Crew was in the house! HAHA!!!! And Marques Houston stepped it up. He looked rather debonair in his suit. WORK Marques!




Tia Mowry was there looking cute with her fiancee. Danielle, AMNTM, looked flawless. I just love her! And Kym Whitley, come on now honey... We know you have breast. Thanks! And her hair, I'm not feeling that color.




Okay. So Jacki-O must of thought she was going to a Ghetto Prom or something. All those damn tattoos on her arm... RIDICULOUS! And that dress. I swear she was on her way to prom. Yung Joc looked nice. I love that chain. Rev Run came with his girls who always look decent. Young B and that other MESS, the creators of Chicken Noodle Soup. They got a nomination for the song! You've got to be joking, right! Robin Thicke and his wife and main girl in his video, Lost Without You, Paula Patton looked nice. Honestly, is anyone else tired of that song? They play it entirely too much. But I always end up singing it! lol




Letoya looked gorgeous in her pink diamond dress. Rick Ross came through! I just love him. Okay now look and Jen's hair! HORRIBLE! And another shot of TACKI-O! Chris Stokes had a date that WASN'T Omarion! WHAT? Let me find out! Elise Neal was there also.

Stars & Strikes Bowling event

The Stars & Strikes Celebrity Bowling event was held yesterday for the charity A Place Called Home Charity in LA. Omarion and Marques Houston stopped through to take a picture with Shondrella! If you don't know the name, she was the girlfriend of Napolean Dynamite's brother in the movie and she is also on this show on Oxygen that features women pulling pranks. I can't remember the name of the show right now but... whatever. Oh and Keke Palmer was there with a Disney friend I bet. Cory Hardrict, Tia Mowry's new fiance was there sans Tia. I have no idea who he is but he had a picture so... there you go!

Jennifer's GIANT Party

Jennifer celebrated for her cover of Giant in Los Angeles at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel. She did it up. She looked cute in the floral print dress. And was snapping pics all night with Janet Jackson and Jamie Foxx. Also in attendance were Omarion, Marques Houston, Lil Jon, and Lisa Raye. Lisa Raye looked nice. Finally she's finding herself...... again. Kimora and Vivica showed up. Vivica looked like a wannabe prom queen...




Serena Williams looked a little beat up at the party. Terrell Owens is making a comeback. I'm proud. John Singleton even stopped through. Oh and someone please call Taraji P. Henson and tell her she knows she's wrong! Now, I love that girl but for real T!? For real? Or a new word I learned last night... Word? HAHA!




Check out how good Janet looks. I love her. And Jamie was killing it... as usual. But on the serious side, do you see how bad that bag is that Janet was carrying? Like, for real, she was hot that night... NO HOMO or whatever you say...
