After The Show It's The AFTERPARTY!

Okay, I thought the Oscar pics were over but after the show, its the AFTERPARTY!!! HAHA.




Yeah well, Oprah, Mary, Kendu and others celebrated at the after party, during the show. Does that make sense? They didn't go to the Oscars, they just watched it together with their "friends". Check out Oprah's reaction when they announced Jennifer Hudson and Forest Whittaker. Congrats to them both again! Check out Eve. She finally covered the paw prints on her chest up. Good look Eve, very good look. But honestly, why was she there? Gabrielle Union looked nice in red. Not too many can pull off red. Chris Tucker was there sans his supposed girlfriend India.Arie.




The Smiths looked cute. Jada killed the night. For the Afterparty, she kept on her dress because, she was flawless! She honestly looked gorgeous, like for real! Jennifer better sing in that Oscar! In the words of Beyonce's Get Me Bodied Remix Pose for the Camera, now FLICK FLICK FLICK. And look at Mary! GORGEOUS!!! She is sooo good. And Diddy looks like he was the star of the show...NOT!!!




Look at the ladies of the Oscar After Party! Wait.. is that Gail!? Come on now. Oprah looked nice. Yeah, I gave her a compliment... Kimora!? Everyone can't rock feathers like Penelope.. Check my note from yesterday!




Now the couples of the Oscars.. Damon Dash and his wife Rachel. I guess they were both gangsta with no teeth showing. Keisha and Forrest. She looked good enough too to keep on her dress. The hottest couple, Kanye and Diddy showing some QT time. I'm just kidding but I think they are both a little... ANYWAY! Kanye and his fiance, her name is Alexis. Nick Cannon and his supposed wife. They got married, according to the media, like last weekend. Selita Ebanks, she's a Victoria Secret's model. Kendu and Mary always stepping out. And finally Kimora and Andre from Vogue!




There are a couple of pics from the actual party. Oh and get this. Notice there are no pictures of Eddie Murphy? Yeah well after he didn't receive the award, him and his date, Tracey Edmonds, bounced! How childish. Like, support your fellow coworkers. Come on Eddie!

And The Academy Award Goes To...

Okay, if you missed it then, you should be ashamed of yourself!!!

The Academy Awards took place last night in Los Angeles at the Kodak Theatre. Everybody who IS somebody was there. My favorite part of the night, When Jada and Will's son and the girl from Little Miss Sunshine presented an award. It was too cute.




Well, let's congratulate Forest Whittaker for taking home the best actor award. And less CONGRATULATE JENNIFER!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!! That's exactly how I screamed in my room and then I cried for a minute. Like I know her or something. But this girl came from singing show tunes on Carnival Cruise Ships to winning an Oscar! It gets no better. And Anika Rose looked nice. Metallic is in this season and her sequins looked good. I liked it. However, Jennifer.... The jacket made her younger. I don't know about that one. I'm going to watch Fashion Police:The Oscars tonight. Forrest was regular in a tuxedo however, he still killed it! LET'S GO BLACK HISTORY MONTH!!! lol




Jada, GORGEOUS! Forest Whittaker's wife,Keisha... GORGEOUS! Jennifer Lopez, GORGEOUS! Beyonce, GOOD. Bey didn't shock me and she didn't thrill me. She just was. Last week her weave was cute with the two-toned was cute. But last night, it was like, Yeah, I'm not nominated so I don't really care. But can someone please look at the back of Keisha Whittaker's dress! Can we say flawless! If you are going to wear a backless dress, for one there needs to be no backne (back and acne combined) and no discoloration. i.e., look like Keisha! Jennifer did pull the Greek theme on us but it worked. The design of the back of her dress was better than the front! I loved it!




The Smiths were there. John Singleton was there!? Okay... Spike and his wife were there. On the pre-show he said something that I found very becoming. He told Ryan Seacrest that Jennifer Hudson is not only a good singer, she is a good actress and he would not even make her audition! Come on now, that came from Spike Lee, eventhough he's mean! It was from Spike. Keith Robinson was there. Quincy ditched his girlfriend for one of his daughters Rashida. And again, I just loved Keisha's dress. Beyonce wore a dress very similar to some awards show but her back was not like that.




Eddie showed up with Tracey. Honestly, does she not feel bad at all!? Like does she really see no problem with dating him? And Elmer holding up that Oscar! I gotta see the movie now....




Was anyone else in love with Penelope Cruz's dress? I know it was a bit different but I loved it! I absolutely loved it! Oh and another back you could copy, Anika Rose's looking flawless. Shaun Robinson, Cass Tech alum, was there with a nice ring... probably borrowed but it was there. The real Chris Gardner was there last night. And Best Supporting Actor Nominee, Djimon Hounsou looked rather daper.
